Team members already on a training exercise were called to a search at Devoran for a missing female. As team members were starting to pack away kit and getting ready to redeploy, the team was stood down by police as the female had been located.

Cornwall Search and Rescue Team is proud to have been shortlisted to the final three community groups for the Saints Award. Saint Awards Presentation Night" style="margin-bottom: 15px; margin-right: 15px;" /> The Saints Awards recognises people and groups living and working within the PL22 to PL26 postcode who make St Austell and its surrounding areas special. The team, which is based in St Dennis has been nominated in the Community Groups category - which celebrates the contribution to the local community by an organisation.
CSRT which is a registered charity, responds to call outs from the police, fire and ambulance services across the county for missing and injured people, last year being called to 39 incidents. Since being founded in 2003, the team has been called to around 380 incidents, ranging from missing children to major weather events.
